Last week LNS Services completed its second of three shutdowns for Covanta at its Waste-Energy Facility in Burnaby. Covanta's site had three boiler hopper systems in need of maintenance this year, each to be repaired independently. In March, LNS completed repairs on the first of these systems, and earlier this month began repairs on the second system. The shutdown was completed successfully and a representative from Covanta sent a note to LNS management stating the following:

“We here at Covanta are very pleased with the ethics and quality of work by both your crew on-site and the timely budget updates and clear communication from your administrative staff. LNS was a model of professional conduct during this most recent outage and we are very appreciative of your efforts.”

This is a great display of two of our core values at work: Passion Leads To Pride & Effort Gets Recognized. The same LNS crew has been requested back to complete the third shutdown at Covanta's Burnaby facility later this year.
