Brooks has been with NorLand for more than 17 years where he serves as VP of Health, Safety, Environmental & Loss Control. He was appointed to the WorkSafeBC Board of Directors as the Health & Safety Representative in 2015 and is a former Chair and current board member of the BC Construction Safety Alliance Board of Directors. Brooks is also Secretary Treasurer of SkillPlan and is a trustee with the Construction Industry Rehabilitation Plan. He holds a Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety from BCIT and is a Canadian Registered Safety Professional. He obtained the Chartered Director designation from The Directors College in May of 2017.
Asiah has over 10 years of experience in the infrastructure sector. She is responsible for NorLand’s consolidated financial reporting packages, year-end audit, tax compliance, cash management and internal controls, IT infrastructure, annual financial planning and the budgeting process. She holds an Honours Bachelor's degree in Commerce and Business Operations from Laurentian University, is a CGA, CPA and works as a Professional Education Program educator with CPA Canada’s Western School of Business. Prior to joining Norland, Asiah worked at the western Canadian office of Colas Group, a world leader in road construction and maintenance of transport infrastructure, where she was involved in process improvement initiatives.
Brad has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. In spring 2013, he joined NorLand as Business Development Manager, building new business opportunities through key client conversions, marketing and promoting the organization's brands. Having received his engineering degree from the University of British Columbia, Brad is a Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) and a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of BC (APEGBC). Brad previously worked for SNC Lavalin on large Civil Infrastructure projects as an Engineering Manager specializing in Design-Build and Public Private Partnership projects both on the proposal phase and execution.
Peter has been with NorLand for over 37 years. He started his career here in Bel Construction where he gained valuable experience in multiple roles in the field. As General Manager of Equipment & Resource Solutions, Peter is responsbile for overseeing, supplying and monitoring heavy equipment, vehicles and resource-related needs for NorLand and its businesses.
Christina joined NorLand in 2017 as Manager of Business Systems Integration and brings a perspective gained through a long career in Information Systems. Christina holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Project Management Professional designation and is experienced in Enterprise Architecture and Strategic Planning, Project and Portfolio Management, Business Process and Data Engineering, as well as Systems Development. For the past 20 years, Christina has focused heavily on ERP and related systems. Christina has worked with companies in the energy, utilities, engineering, and construction sectors, including Esso Petroleum Canada, BC Hydro, Aker Solutions, Matrix Service Company and, most recently, Bruce Power.
Spencer first joined NorLand in 2014 when he spent a summer working in the field at two of the organization’s operating businesses: Pacific Blasting & Demolition and BelPacific Excavating & Shoring. After his summer work-term, he travelled abroad and worked in the financial service industry in Colombia, returning to Canada and NorLand in January of 2016. Spencer began in business and corporate development, spearheading several important initiatives related to corporate culture and strategy, and in November of 2017 became Manager of Corporate Development & Strategy. Spencer holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University.
